It has been a while since I’ve posted my menu, so I thought I would start back today.

Monday: Chicken and Dumplings
Tuesday: Red Beans
Wednesday: Church
Thursday: Nachos
Friday: Grilled Chicken Salads
Saturday: BBQ Ribs, Potato Salad
Sunday: Pot Roast

To know that there is a heaven waiting on me.

2008 came with a lot of trials that I was not expecting. I was in love with the man of my dreams and soon had him and his son living in my home. In October I was struggling with many things in my life and was trying to cope alone. Along comes Mr. Depression and Mr. Anxiety. Things escalated until December 19th when my 1st cousin was murdered (http://www.nbc15online.com/news/local/story/Local-Store-Owner-Robbed-Murdered/pLsS7H8Y6E-MdRAl3Pd4BA.cspx)
Then a few days later on Christmas Eve a lot of heated discussion and decisions were made for my fiance and his son to move out. My life was turned upside down. On December 26th my aunt was admitted to the hospital with liver failure which comes along with a prognosses of being terminally ill with alzheimer like symptoms. I’m not sure which thing in that week put the last nail in the coffin, but together I fell apart.
New Years Eve I started therapy and we are working on adjusting my medications so that I can deal with life as it is. I’ve put most of my life on hold until I can deal with my mental stressors. Please keep my family in your prayers. I will check in as often as I can, but will not have an internet connection for some time. I miss all of my blogging friends and hope to have my life together soon, so that we can spend some time together again one day.
